Feature guide

What each feature is for and what you can do with it. This is a beta, so details may change between releases.

A completely different look

PurposeGive you an app that feels like its own world, not another classic viewer window.

  • Five colour themes: Neon Arcade, Pocket Green, Amber Terminal, Super Lavender and Famicom Cream.
  • Light and dark options to suit the time of day.
  • One clear page for each job: HQ, Party, Wardrobe, World, Comms and AI.

  • Set a persona and conversation limits for each avatar.
  • Choose who it talks to: Owners only, a Guest list or Everyone.
  • Test a conversation before you switch it on.
  • Approve the outfit and item actions it may use.
  • Turn on Powers such as sharing a taxi link, checking availability and asking mates to join.

Merchant communication

PurposeKeep your sales and your customer conversations together, inside Second Life.

  • Connect your Marketplace with ANS notifications, so new sales reach your Merchant dashboard.
  • Import order files too. Overlapping dates are fine, because Realm skips orders it already has.
  • See Marketplace buyer and Gift recipient badges in Comms, with order history one click away.
  • Reply to customers from the same conversation.

Floorplan

PurposePlan and change a multi-level place on screen, before anything changes in-world.

  • Capture a place, or start a new project.
  • Work floor by floor in top, front, side and 45° cutaway views.
  • Stage objects from your inventory, then move, rotate and scale them.
  • Check an object's source and permissions.
  • Rez or apply your plan when it looks right.
  • Save an offline walkthrough, and export or import projects as files.
